Hello We are Christopher buttle and lexie joinson, we are ballroom and latin dancers - you may have seen us on britains got talent 2018 where we made the live semi finals.

We have a passion for helping to raise money for charities and have done so for various charities around the country. This time we decided to do something for a charity that is very close to our hearts, please read our story below 

Just a year ago while rehearsing in London for bgt Christopher’s mum found a lump in her left breast. But as we were about to embark on the most amazing opportunity of our lives she kept it to herself thinking she would be fine, she carried on and kept very quiet. About it a month later as the lump in her left breast was still there She finally went to the GP. He didn’t think it was anything serious but at the same time her mum (Christopher’s nan) was having treatment for breast cancer so her GP said protocol says He had to fast track her. Fast forward a year She has undergone a mastectomy and full lymph node clearance chemo therapy and radiotherapy. With the help of friends and family during this extremely scary and stressful journey, we remained strong, stuck together and never missed a planned competition or event and Christopher’s mum battled and kicked cancers butt! 

There are so many types of cancer in both men, women and children and we want to encourage people to Please please please educate yourselves to the warning signs and get yourselves checked out, you just never know it could save your life!
