I have been involved with PEAK for over 8 years now, first as a mentor and now as a member of the Board.  I have witnessed first-hand how successful this program is and how it changes the lives of the young women and men of Chicago who are fortunate enough to obtain a PEAK scholarship.  My mentee (Oscar, class of 2017) is now a Junior in college and he is thriving not just academically, but in all aspects of his life.  Oscar is on his way to a career in public service because he recognizes the importance of giving back to his community.  The only limit on the power of PEAK to change the lives of other children in Chicago who are desperate for an opportunity to succeed is the amount of money we have available for PEAK scholarships.  Please help me reach my $5,000 goal and know that every dollar you give is being invested in the future of Chicago.  Help us change Chicago.
