We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

I am taking part in the 26 mile leg of the Great Manchester Cycle (29 June) and the 60 mile Manchester to Blackpool Cycle (13 July) to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

Almost everyone knows someone who has been affected by Cancer at some point in their lives.

Family, close friends, friends' parents and friends of friends that I know have had to suffer this terrible disease.  Some have been lucky enough to recover, however some have not and have lost their lives to Cancer.

I will be cycling in memory of those close to me and my friends who have been lost to Cancer and celebrating those who have been lucky enough to recover from Cancer.

In cycling for Cancer Research UK, I hope to raise awareness of their cause and raise money to go towards the hard work they carry out every day to try and find a cure for this terrible disease.
