9 years ago I was lucky enough to visit Ethiopia and see first hand the amazing work Partners for Change, Ethiopia and JeccDO (an NGO) do out there.   They particularly help women and vulnerable children, regardless of race or religion, in disadvantaged urban Ethiopian communities.  They do this through supporting community-led projects, empowering women, in a society that is still male-orientated, to have a voice and be more financially independent.  They honestly make a real difference to people's lives. It was one of the most humbling and inspiring things I've ever done.  It has been some time since I went but I can't get the people and experience out of my head.  With Covid 19, people need our help more than ever.
