Our brave mum has battled cancer for the past 6 years. She showed so much positivity and courage and was never one to complain about the impact the disease had on her.

Over the past 8-10 months she had been a patient several times at Roxburghe House. Not only did they provide the most wonderful end of life care at such a difficult time but they also helped with pain management which allowed us to spend one last precious Christmas together as a family in Sussex. Caroline and I will be forever grateful for this. 

She spent about 2 months there before passing away. This was at a time when Covid prevented visitors for the majority of time. The compassion and care that they showed her was incredible. Caroline and I were allowed to be at her bedside for the last 5 days and it became evident how wonderful their care had been. Furthermore the staff there looked after us so well at such a difficult time. I cannot imagine where we would have been without this amazing facility. 

We would love to raise funds to ensure that this essential establishment continues for many more years and to thank them for what they have done for us as a family.
