A
s I turn 60 in May I reflect just how lucky I am and cannot but help be thankful for growing up in a loving and supportive home with great parents and friends around me.

I am asking you to support a housing association charity that I have worked with for over 20 years. TCHA is a small, focussed, specialist HA who don't say too much about the great work they do working with young, homeless people from Tamworth and beyond; young people who perhaps did not have the luck I did in their early lives. TCHA deserve our support thats why I created this page.

We are currently ready to go on site and build 12 brand new single person flats; we have the planning approval, capital funding from Homes England and the Charity Bank (thanks both) and a contractor, Manton's, ready to build as soon as Covid restrictions are lifted.

So the purpose of my request to you is to help TCHA fund the furniture and fittings and to help meet the other needs of young people moving in. We estimate that each flat will require £600 and I am hoping we might raise enought to furnish 6 of the flats.

If that is not enough to get you donating I completed a 60 minute hockey keepy up challenge just to see how many times I can keep a hockey ball in the air for an hour. The answer was 3644  with the best consecutive Keepy Up being 118 to add to the difficulty I competed the rtask in my keepers kit!

So cash please It is for a very good cause and will be put to good use.
