Sadly, Judith lost her 6-year battle with cancer last month (April 2021). She showed her usual quiet determination and sense of humour to the end; in fact, many people may not even have known she was ill.

Since moving to Durham, Judith had spent many happy hours volunteering at the Durham Wildlife Trust reserve at Low Barns (even though there are no elephants, parrots or guinea pigs!). It seemed appropriate to set up this JustGiving page for the DWT in her memory, given her lifelong love of wildlife.

Judith is much missed by all her family and friends, old and new. She was and will remain an inspiration, living with a number of challenges but meeting them all with seemingly effortless fortitude and good humour.
