Story
My name is Chris Ingram, I'm 26 from Manchester. In 2019 I achieved a dream when I became the first British Driver in 52 years to become FIA European Rally Champion, whilst overcoming a much more challenging battle with my own mental health. I hope that by being open about my challenges It will help other men get talking.
For men struggling with their mental health, HUMEN is fantastic charity where you can get support every week via the HUMEN Space every Monday.
#Challenge76 I will be challenging myself as a minimum to Run 76km and Cycle 76km per month, in my preparations for the World Rally Championship where I will compete on 76 stages against the World's best drivers.
Your support will be very much appreciated to help HUMEN continue their great work and I will keep you updated with my progress on here and via my social media @chrisingramrally

On average 1 man dies by suicide, every minute of every day, globally. Besides the virus, mental ill-health will be the single biggest crisis we will be faced with as a result of COVID-19. The latest ONS figures have shown that depression has doubled during the Coronavirus pandemic.HUMEN is the charity leading a movement to prevent men from suffering in silence and dying too young by improving and maintaining men's mental health, through The HUMEN Space. Anonymous and non-clinical spaces across the UK for men to talk, listen and connect on a regular basis. HUMEN had to close all of their Spaces across the UK but quickly transitioned online to continue to provide this lifeline to men all over the world. Since the pandemic they have continued to provide this vital support every single week, despite being significantly impacted by the £4billion the charitable sector has lost as a result of the pandemic.76% of all UK suicides are male that's why I'm taking on the Challenge 76.
