Story

I have decided to be brave and jump out of a plane on the 7th July, in memory of my beautiful, bright, courageous little sister Kelsie.

Kelsie was diagnosed in July 2012 aged 6 with an atypical pontine glioma brain tumour of the brain stem, a rare uncurable childhood cancer. Kelsie underwent treatment of radiotherapy and chemotherapy and fought this disease courageously for 2 years, always with a beaming smile on her face!

Kelsie sadly passed away on 5th July 2014, aged 8 in Derian House Children's Hospice.
Derian House were a blessing to our family during Kelsie's treatment and passing. The support they showed us was tremendous. They provided our family with respite and 24 hour care for Kelsie towards the end of her life. The nurses at Derian House were truly remarkable and Kelsie loved her time there playing in the ‘messy room’ and sitting in the garden watching the butterflies.

This charity was a god send and we are so grateful for the outstanding work they do to help sick and severely disabled children, providing them and their families with support, respite and palliative care.

Please donate anything you can to this amazing charity so they can continue their invaluable work by helping other families that may be facing the devastating loss of their child.

Thank you to everyone who has shown there support and donated so far, I am completely overwhelmed by your generosity, thank you from the bottom of my heart, it means the world to me.
