My name is Chloe Avon and I’m the owner & founder of The Dream Street Group, I want to share my story with you as to why I am regularly fundraising for this charity throughout my business and franchises, By the time I am 25 I hope to have raised £15,000 for Arthritis Research UK.

27,000 people under 25 suffer from arthritis in the UK alone; making around 72% of suffers meeting the legal definition of disabled. This makes a massive impact upon many people’s lives and is even recorded as the second most common illness for days off work,

At just 12 years old I was diagnosed with Arthritis after months of various tests. I then started various therapies to help me manage my condition and resume normality back into my life.

A few years later i found Arthritis Research UK who support many people on a day to day basis to find out more about the condition and to raise vital funds to find a cure, Through ARUK I have met other young people who are in the same situation as me and they have been so supportive in everything I have done which not only makes fundraising great, it also makes managing my condition easier as it’s very easy to begin to feel isolated.

Being in pain 24/7 take’s it out of you not just physically but mentally and emotionally. It literally drags you down more and more and the worst thing is, it’s never going to go away.

I'm not only raising money to fund vital research but raising awareness that this disease can effect anyone, anywhere in the world at any age.

Against all odds, Against all logic, We still hope for a cure.
