We give young people mindfulness skills to support lifelong wellbeing/mental health

Story

I'm running this 15 mile off-road race in Kent to raise money for Mindfulness in School Project's A Million Minds Matter appeal because, as a parent, I believe we need to better empower all young people with skills to navigate through the potentially devastating challenges of adolescence.  Our charity provides a mindfulness toolkit to children to give them the best opportunity to flourish as individuals, and hopefully prevent them from reaching crisis point.

I know, as MiSP's CEO, that unless we raise more funds we will not be able to reach more schools.  This appeal will fund:

  • supported places on our courses
  • the development of new materials and curricula
  • outreach work, including shouting louder about the work we do and the benefits it has.

As someone who likes going for short jogs on nice flat roads, a hilly, up and down off-road long run is my personal nightmare.  Please do sponsor me for encouragement, and to raise funds for this really important cause.  For more information please visit our website: www.mindfulnessinschools.org

Thank you all so much.
