Cheryl Evans is raising money for RSPCA Lincoln

Team: Cheryls skydive fundraiser

Skydive · 29 September 2022

Like all RSPCA branches, we are independent, meaning we do not receive government funding and must fundraise to care for local animals. We look after cats, dogs and rabbits who may have been subject to cruelty or neglect previously, making sure they are happy and healthy once rehomed.

Story

My very lovely Dad (whether I’ll be calling him that ok the day is another matter!!) bought me a skydive for my 35th Birthday. As this is a paid for jump, I have decided to use the opportunity to raise funds for a couple of local charities, the first one being the RSPCA Lincolnshire Mid and Lincoln Branch, who do so much good for animals in need within our area. This is a very small charity and every single penny counts.

We have adopted two of our fur babies from this branch and I’m so grateful for everything they did for our Bailey and Lily.

The RSPCA Lincolnshire Mid and Lincoln branch, like all local RSPCA branches, whilst under the umbrella of the National RSPCA, receives no Government funding, and relies heavily on donations from the public, money raised from our charity shops and organised events.2020 has been an incredibly hard year for us as we have been unable to fundraise like we normally would. Please donate so we can ensure continued care for all the animals needing help. If you're interested in adopting an animal please email office@rspca-lincoln.org.uk .

I am also raising funds for a another  local charity - St Barnabas Lincolnshire, which forms part of my fundraising team. Please consider donating to both charities, as I know both will both be very grateful.
