Story

Since 1981 the New Zealand Down Syndrome Association (NZDSA) has supported, informed, educated, empowered and advocated alongside people with Down syndrome, families, whānau, and professionals so that we can achieve our vision that all people with Down syndrome are respected, valued, and equal members of their community fulfilling their potential and aspirations. The New Zealand Down Syndrome Association believes there is power in working together to create accessible and inclusive communities. We hope you will join us in raising awareness about Down syndrome and what inclusion means.
