I've chosen to run the Bristol 10k and raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support because they looked after my Grandad when he was diagnosed with cancer.

The work they did really made a difference to him and our family in coming to terms with the distressing news. They give answers and much needed support by providing specialist nurses and health care professionals who carry out home visits.

The nurses really do care, and suffering from cancer is something no one should have to deal with on their own.

Macmillan Cancer Support were there for my Grandad until the very end, making sure that he was comfortable, that he understood what was happening and that his dignity remained intact.

With one in three people currently being diagnosed with cancer, it is really important that no one should face cancer alone. By donating anything you can, you are ensuring that this does not happen.
