COVID-19: Ensuring the stability of WellChild's future work for vulnerable children, young people and families.

Story

I'm raising funds for WellChild, so they are able to continue our work to give vulnerable seriously ill children and their families vital support during the COVID-19 outbreak.

So last week (17th March ) we discovered that Charlie had a brain Tumor !  As you can imagine this was a complete shock and we couldn't believe it ! We felt like we were in a film and it wasn't real .

Charlie was very lucky in that although it was right in the centre of his brain it was possible to operate and on Friday last week this was carried out and successful in removing most of it.

Charlie has been so possitive and remained calm and caring throughout all off this.  He is still in Southampton Hospital where the Doctors & Nurses have been truly amazing inspite of the current situation with Covid-19 . One of the things Charlie wanted to do was raise money for the less fortunate children who will need full time care and support any work that can be done in our current crisis.

Please if you can do anything support this fund by donating today .

As for Charlie .... He is recovering well and looking forward to getting home.. he has taken this in his stride and is my Hero . Xx
