After collaborating with Unicef UK for years through my work as a journalist, including on HuffPost's first ever Christmas Appeal in 2017, I've learned so much about the remarkable work that Unicef do giving children a chance at a better life in the hardest circumstances.

The kids they help are the most innocent, least protected victims of conflict and disasters, and I'm determined to do my bit to help - and so I've decided to run the 2019 London Marathon in aid of the charity.

The money I'm aiming to raise will go toward funding safe shelter, education, food, water and medical care that families and kids need to survive around the world, from refugee camps in Jordan, Yemen and South Sudan. I'd really appreciate anything you can give to help.
