October is Black History Month in the UK, an annual celebration and promotion of black history, present and future. The purpose of BHM is to highlight and recognise the achievements and contributions of African and Caribbean people to the economic, cultural and political life in the UK.

The Black Heroes Foundation is a community based charity for the development and promotion of talent, together with cultural Black Heroes Foundation and artistic initiatives in the community focusing on youth, education, training, social up-lifting and personal development programmes. Their vision is about developing cultural awareness and promoting a world where Black Heroes are acknowledged, respected and celebrated.
