Story

On 23rd August 2010 I heard the words, "I'm sorry it's cancer."

At first I feared I would not live to see the day I reached five years...

Then I thought if I did, it would be a cause for celebration...

Now, knowing what a cruel, unpredictable set of diseases cancer is, it feels inappropriate to celebrate.  Instead what I want to do is express my gratitude for not only being here, and for still being well.

I'd like to invite anyone who has been part of those five years to conisder donating £5 to CRUK and in their message stating a song or piece of music for me to add to my playlist.  Even anon donors can state a musical choice :)

On Sunday 23rd August 2015, after church, I will listen to the choices, give thanks for each person who chose and to remember the all too long list of absent friends.
