Story
So on 5th May it will be my 60th birthday. “Surely not” I hear you cry... I had big plans. Venice for a long weekend, a party at home later this month and Vancouver in the summer holidays. So plans are changing one by one and sadly the chance to see friends and family have been put on hold. Meanwhile work continues and at Wiltshire Portage our home visitors are working remotely and fundraising events have been cancelled or, at best, postponed. Giving to charity will...fir now...focus on vital care and health charities. But we are still working hard and just to buy the basics to keep us going is going to be tough. So - instead of travelling to my party or sending a gift in the post - please consider making a donation to Wiltshire Portage. Donations will help us to maintain our online support for pre-school children with special educational needs and disabilities for whom lockdown presents additional challenges. Currently we need money to buy the elusive PPE so that our home visitors can get back to visit families in their own homes once restrictions have been lifted. Thank you!
