On 31st July 2004, my mum was taken away from me prematurely at the age of 58.  She died from cancer and I wanted to do something to mark the 10th anniversary of her death.  Due to personal time pressures,  I have not been able to organise the event I would have liked to so I have decided to raise money for Assisi Animal Sanctuary, something which many of you will know was very close to mum's heart.  My mum loved all animals and her cat, Bandubh and my cat, Teko came from Assisi.  Both of them are now happily playing with mum again x
