Story
It is five years since Jonathan died and we want to remember him and celebrate his life as a wonderful husband, dad, son, and friend to many.
As many of you know, Jonathan contracted mesothelioma whilst working on a building site for a summer job when he was just 17 years old. It lay dormant and undetected for the next 45 years and it was a devastating and baffling diagnosis to receive and a great shock and sadness for all of us to lose him just 4 months later.
HASAG is a charity which supports people and families suffering from asbestos related diseases and has helped us and countless others navigate their way through this difficult time offering counselling and support. They also campaign for more awareness and education as well as funding much needed ongoing research.
So our family are running 5K on 23rd October 2022 in Richmond Park to hopefully raise money for this small, little known charity and to remember and celebrate Jonathan's life. He wasn't a great runner himself - unless it was on a small strip of green with a bat in his hand.
If you wanted to donate any amount however small that would be wonderful.
