I am donating 16 inches of my hair to the little princess trust in order to raise money for the Rowan Tree cancer care charity. This charity is really important to me because they were an amazing support unit for a close friend, Karen Cutts who is suffering with breast cancer. Karen has asked all donations to be given to this charity because of the amazing help and support they were during a really difficult time. This charity helps to provide emotional and practical support to families who are living in Rhondda Cynon Taf and whose lives are touched by cancer. The drop-in centre in Mountain Ash, provides a friendly place for clients and / or their families to call in for an informal chat with staff and volunteers. The reason I have chosen to donate my hair is because other people are in more need of it than me and I would love to give someone suffering with cancer the chance to feel themselves again.
