Story
My mum, Caroline, very sadly passed away on 13th January 2022. She was an amazing friend to so many, a great archaeologist, and above all the best mum I could ask for.
In lieu of flowers for the funeral, I would welcome any donations to two organisations that meant a lot to her, CLAN Cancer Support and the Society of Antiquaries Scotland.
CLAN are an amazing charity that provide support for anyone with cancer in the North East of Scotland and the Northern Isles. When my mum had cancer around eight years ago, CLAN were a massive help in getting her through a very difficult time. They provided her invaluable advice and support, as well as accommodation when she travelled down to Aberdeen for treatment.
The Society of Antiquaries of Scotland promotes the study and enjoyment of Scotland's past. My mum has been an active member and keen supporter of the Society throughout her life, including for a time working as secretary to the Society. She loved explaining the wonder of archaeology to everyone, and any donations will support making Scotland's heritage accessible to all.
Unfortunately it is only possible to fundraise for one charity per JustGiving page. Please donate here for CLAN, and please use the link below to find a dedicated page to make donations for Caroline at the Society of Antiquaries Scotland:

On behalf of my mum, thank you. I know all the support and love would mean so much to her.
