Story
On 9th October I will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon running as part of Team Anna. I will be 1 of 100 runners this year taking part to raise money for research into Alpers' Disease which sadly took the life of Anna Lewis.
Anna was a healthy baby when she was struck down by a mystery illness of 19 January 2012, aged just 11 months. She was taken into intensive care following seizures and eight weeks later at Great Ormond Street Hospital, following numerous intrusive tests, was diagnosed with Alpers' Disease. She only lived for another two weeks after diagnosis.
