Story

I'm running in Team Bagpuss for Hospices of Hope because it is just an amazing charity; it's the leading palliative care charity in South Eastern Europe  They believe everyone deserves the best possible care at the end of life, but in developing countries like Romania, Serbia and Moldova these facilities for the most part simply do not exist. Many patients still die in pain, being offered no physical, spiritual or emotional comfort.

Even in the UK hospice provision has really grown due to the generosity of individuals and businesses, but 20 years after the fall of communism and these are still some of the poorest countries in Europe, so people simply have less to give.

Hospices of hope are dedicated to improving the lives of the terminally ill in SE Europe by increasing access to hospice care and training, so thought I'd help them out. Whilst wearing a pink t-shirt with Bagpuss on the front, just so you can't miss me! And apparently the course is 'challenging', so I'm bloody terrified!!
