Fundraising for The Ramblers
Story
- As the Ramblers is the UK's walking charity, we know that walking transforms lives, which is why we work tirelessly to ensure we continue to improve walkers' rights and protect the places we all love to go walking. Thanks to our generous supporters, we've successfully campaigned to open up some of the most beautiful parts of Britain. Through group led walks, our staff and volunteers have helped thousands of people across the UK to improve their physical and mental health by connecting with nature and green spaces.
- My Winter Challenge: I am hoping to walk the 50 miles in December over a number of different walks, both at home in Norfolk and in Portugal while on holiday. Some of these walks will be with the Ramblers, some with another walking group and some with friends and family. There may be the odd one or two by myself!
- Hopefully this challenge will help to raise money for the Ramblers charity while helping me to not to put on weight over the festive period with the extra goodies being consumed!
