Story
This page has been set up in memory of Carol Costigan, who sadly passed away on the 11th October 2009, at the age of 57, after a brave and dignified battle with oesophageal cancer.
**A special thanks to Kenton School for your very kind donations - it means a lot to know you're still thinking of Carol**
Carol's funeral was held at the West Road crematorium, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, at 2.15pm on Friday 16th October.
Rather than send flowers for the funeral, the family invite you to make a donation to Cancer Research in her memory. We would very much value your support to raise money for this important charity - we hope that your donations will help to find a way of overcoming this terrible disease.
You can make your donations and add a message through this page. It is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
Carol is dearly missed by her loving husband Peter, her mother Rose, her sons Ian, Graham and Paul, and the rest of the family. The memory of her will never be lost. We will love you always, and thank you for the wonderful time that we spent together. Sleep peacefully x.
Thank you to everybody who made a donation at the service, which has resulted in £168 being donated to Cancer Research.
(PS - thank you to Jean, Tom, Lynne and Helen for their donation)
