Hello, my name is Carl, i am 41 and from Leeds and I have Pancreatic Cancer.

I wanted to do something for 'Stand up for cancer'. Due to getting pancreatic cancer at 2012 and having surgery I am now not in a position to be able to do a sponsored marathon - a dash to the toilet may be a reachable challenge, so instead i have started to write a book, and this is the first chapter:

Due to it been the first draft, please expect this to be very rough, but it is an ongoing work, so keep coming back and it will change, also any feedback will be great,   and hoping that if you can, then to donate a little change and  I may get away with my cheekiness (and if you cant, well don’t worry, by reading the blog gets the charity awareness)  

I don’t want this to be a depressing, and if i am asking for a small  donation, the last thing you want is to be depressed after reading, but it is hard to he up-beat about it all, but let me explain one of the reasons why it is a great charity.  

There are more people surviving cancer, and that is down to us all putting money into the container or online.
