Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit this page. It's here to provide an easy way for you to support my raising money for the Sick Kids Foundation through the Sick Kids Save Point marathon.
What I'll be doing: I'll be playing games for 24 hours! Of course for health reasons food, bathroom breaks and a bit of a rest will be taken every hour or so for a few minutes but otherwise I will be playing games as much as I can. I think I can rig up a webcam as well to broadcast my progress.
To aid your willingness to donate, I have encouraged people, against my better judgement, to recommend a game for me to play for every hour slot. This has resulted in people asking me to play terrible, awful games. But nothing is too awful: if you request one, and you pay, I'll do it. And my wrinkled up nose will broadcast while I play it...
Sick Kids Save Point is a 24 hour gaming marathon being held 7th-9th October 2011 to raise money for The Sick Kids Friends Foundation.
The foundation supports the work of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh. The Hospital receives over 100,000 children through its doors each year from all over the country. Money will go towards:
* Extra comforts, which make time in hospital better for children
* Facilities
* Extra medical equipment
* Support for sick children who are cared for in the Community
* Funding for extra training and research
Last year, although we did contribute towards purchasing vital equipment for complicated surgery we didn't quite make it to our £10,000 pound 'platinum' target.
If you don't want to take part, you can sponsor me here! Please give what you can to support me. I want to make as much as I can, as the Sick Kids hospital does near magical work for children from all over Scotland.
