Story

This page was set up as a result of an initiative from former Wolves captain Karl Henry, working with Wolves Foundation (of which he is an Ambassador) and the Wolves Former Players Association to raise funds for the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.

On this page donations were made (without Gift Aid added) for a raffle to win a fantastic framed/signed Conor Coady matchworn shirt, donated kindly by Wolves fan and memorabilia collector Steve Plant, and an incredible painting of Captain Tom Moore, by Denise Dennison, wife of Wolves legend, Robbie.

A huge thank you to Steve and Denise whose efforts here have had such an incredible impact on the fund, which is going towards increase the capacity to treat Covid-19 at Wolverhampton's New Cross Hospital.

This page was linked with several others to pursue an overall target of £50,000 to be donated to the Trust.

The fund followed substantial support from the Wolves first team squad and staff with a six-figure donation to the Trust, along with the donation of PPE to local hospitals and care facilities by club owners, Fosun.

A huge thank you from everyone who played their part in raising a fantastic amount for our courageous NHS workers.
