Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'd like to keep my story short and sweet.
My mother got Ms sadly when she was 27, 6 months after I was born she was told she had rrms (remitting relapsing Ms) 10 years later she relapsed and was told she had spms (secondary progressive Ms) now for the past 10.5 years she has been confined to a wheelchair. 2018 was by far the hardest year for us all as a family, my mum was in hospital for four months while inside we nearly lost her twice. Bring on 2019 she had the best year I have known in forever it was the year of doing what was unknown to her for so many years from going out to the local cafe with me to going on holiday with my father and after many other amazing ups even going out with a bang and ending the year by dancing with me in her chair but still a moment I never thought I'd get.
So that's a bit about the reason why I want to battle Ms , and raise money to help because it has effected someone dear and close to me, another reason we picked this charity is because it not only supports the individual but also the family which is something I wish I had known about growing up.
So what better way to spread awareness by not drinking alcohol for a year while working overseas, normally the two go hand in hand so hoping that spread the news.
