Three Peaks Challenge 2017 · 16 June 2017 to 18 June 2017 ·

We provide free palliative care to South East London, Bromley and Croydon

Story

In June 2017, I will be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge in support of St. Christopher's Hospice.

With a team of colleagues from Accenture UK's Health and Public Service group, we will attempt to climb the highest peaks of Scotland (Ben Nevis, 1345m), England (Scafell Pike, 978m) and Wales (Snowdon, 1085m) in 24 hours.

We expect to spend approximately 13 hours hillwalking (including 5hrs during the night) and 11 hours in a minibus trying to sleep while our dedicated drivers cover the 462 miles across the UK between locations.

I'm quietly confident in my minibus sleeping performance, but the whole hiking thing...maybe not so much. This will be my first attempt at long distance hillwalking - I've stocked up on Decathlon essentials but am fully expecting to be in a whole world of pain during and after the 24hrs. I need your help to make it all worthwhile!!!

All donations however big or small will help us to reach our fundraising target and, more importantly, will make a difference to people's lives.

St Christopher’s is an amazing hospice that provides care and support to families during a very difficult time. They provide palliative care for terminally and critically ill patients; allowing patients to be surrounded by friends and family in a warm dignified environment and ensuring they feel cared for and loved in their last days of life.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
