Story
The Friends of Calgary Bay is a group of local volunteers formed way back in 2005 and supported by Mull and Iona Ranger Service to help conserve and restore the habitat of Calgary Bay.
Concerned about the worsening condition of the toilets and the possibility of closure by the Council under successive budget cuts, in July 2019 the Friends of Calgary Bay signed a licence to take over operation of Calgary Toilets.
Cleaning and maintenance costs as well as renovation and improvements are paid entirely by donations from the public (the Council pays us just a £315 p.a.).
If you value the toilets and wish to support the Friends of Calgary Bay to keep the running, please make a donation and share this page with your friends!
