Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In September, Dr Nathan will be taking up his regular cycling trip to the Alps to cover some of the sections of climbs that feature in the Tour de France after a couple of years of pandemic enforced absence…..the elevation covered will be more than cycling up Everest! He will be riding for Cancer Treatment and Research Trust which is a charity supporting vital research activity here at Mount Vernon for melanoma and renal cancer patients amongst others.

Dr Shaw has equally had (partly!) enforced absence from the hairdresser through that time – and is now intending to cut her hair – jointly to donate the hair itself to The Little Princess Trust who make hairpieces for children going through hair loss as a result of cancer treatment, and to raise funds for our own CTRT.

We'd be grateful for any donations you felt able to give towards this valuable cause so we can keep offering patients the best access to novel treatments and research.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
