Thanks for taking the time to visit the CMTA OC Branch JustGiving page.
Thanks to recent research there is hope on the horizon for treatments to halt, retard or stop the progression of this disease so that people with CMT can lives without limitations. Currently there are several aggressive, multi-pronged efforts involving small molecule, biological and gene therapy research activities by academic experts, pharmaceutical industry partners and investigators worldwide. No surprise - all of these research projects to find treatments and/or cures cost money.
The Orange County Branch for the CMTA is lending it's support to raise $10,000 for the CMTA to help advance research for the 3 million people living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT). The CMTA is a 503c3 non-profit and they are working with world class partners to advance treatment-oriented research through STAR (Strategy to Accelerate Research). Recently the CMTA received a perfect rating of 100 from the Charity Navigator which means you can give with confidence that your dollars are being used effectively to find cures for this disease.
Whatever dollar amount you are able to donate will help change lives. Please help make a difference in the lives of us living with CMT and for our generations to come. Whatever your contribution we are grateful for your support and thank you for your help.
Thank you for your friendship and thanks for your support.
