Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have wanted to walk the West Highland Way since I last did it when I was 18 years old and what better way to do it now than to raise money for a deserving charity.
As most of you know my Dad died in 2006 from a dementia illness which was made all the more bearable by the support Mum and Dad received from Alzheimers Scotland. They helped to make sure they were receiving the right benefits which they were entitled to as well as other practical and emotional support. They were there for them every step of the way so I think they deserve a BIG THANK YOU and this is one way I can show it.
Remember that a donation of £50 can fund a day of respite care and that £100 can go towards a bath lift - so dig deep!
Dad also loved hillwalking so I am sure he would appreciate this.
Thanks
Christine xx
P.S. Just to let you know I am missing the first KISS UK tour since 1999 as the tour dates coincide with the walk ... so dig even deeper!!
