Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit HMS CHIDDINGFOLD’s Just Giving page.
On the first week of January Crew 1 of HMS CHIDDINGFOLD will be undertaking Challenge 37! This will consist of every member of the ships company completing 37km in just 7days. The event may be completed by cycling, running, rowing or swimming the 37k- no easy task.

As a ships company we are trying to raise as much money as possible for the Rainbow Centre in Portsmouth. As many of you may be aware, Portsmouth is HMS CHIDDINGFOLD’s base port as well the home town of many crew members hence why we have chosen this charity.

Why 37? - M37 is the ship’s pennant number and 2020 marks 37 years since the ship was launched,
making her one of the oldest serving ships in the Royal Navy.
