UPDATE: having just found I have got a place in the London Marathon for the Brain Tumour Charity, I will be building on the amazing total above for this worthy cause.
On the 12th October I am organising a golf day for friends and family in order to raise money for charity and remember Charles on what would of been his 38th Birthday. All 20 golfers have agreed to take up the challenge and play 38 holes in one day (that is roughly 10 hours of non stop golf, over 20km of walking, umpteen shots and hopefully not so many lost balls!). They will be playing at Brickhampton and in memory of Charles who died from a Brain Tumour in 2014. As a keen golfer we thought what a better way to commemorate what would of been his 38th birthday by playing 38 holes of the game he loved!
All money raised will go to the Brain Tumour Charity to provide them with vital funds to help in their research of this devastating form of cancer. As a charity they are determined to increase survival rates and improve the quality of life of thoes people living with a Brain Tumour.
