We provide music therapy to build connections

Story

This page is to remember our dear daughter Bryony, who was killed by a drink-drug driver on 21/08/15 when struck by a car in Nottingham.

Bryony was an accomplished French horn player and had just completed her first year studying music at the University of Sheffield. She was considering a career as a music therapist. The more memories we hear from Bryony's friends, the more remarkable we appreciate she was. We are proud to have had her as a daughter and sister and to see how many lives she touched. We are supporting Nordoff Robbins to help them touch other lives as Bryony would have continued to do if she'd had the chance.

A huge thanks to everyone who donated on the original Everydayhero site, raising a total of £20,331.05 (£18,104.28 donated + £2,226.77 gift aid) - as well as the £3,246 raised on this site on my sub-20 5k run at the end of 2016.

RCN 280960
Nordoff and Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with a unique approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice. Through the power of music, it breaks through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation. The charity does this through providing music therapy to people across the UK, whilst also training the music therapists of the future and funding research to measure and improve the impact of its work.
