Story
Now in it’s 36th year CLAN offers cancer support
for people throughout NE Scotland, Moray, Orkney and Shetland via a network of 5 permanent sites and 8 outreach centres, all of which are community focussed. The support is not just for people who have been diagnosed with cancer but their
children, parents, siblings, families, peers and friends.
60 staff and a further 50 therapists and counsellors help to deliver a wide range of support services. In addition, there are more than 400
volunteers who carry out a wide variety of roles from working in the charity shops, helping maintain the gardens at CLAN house to making teas and coffees at the centres,
In order to offer this and more CLAN needs to raise £2.6 million each year
