‘Match me’ Christmas Campaign – a time when it matter’s most
Match me is an initiative which was inspired by a discussion between Shelley Lloyd of Celsium Powered by Brunel and Gillian Farrell of Caudwell Children. What with Company Christmas parties and Christmas meals not going ahead, it’s so easy to let the year just peter out - but there is a way to end the year more positively and feel good about yourself and take control where Covid has taken that from us.
So what does that look like? What if we all pressed into something that would make a massive difference?
Match me - means literally ‘match what I’m doing and let’s be in this together’ So here’s how it works:
- This Christmas we are looking to help 100 families with an autistic child
- Donate £150.00 to pay for a Get Sensory pack + postage for one vulnerable family with one child with autism.
- And when you donate £150.00 ask another person to match you and do the same.
Get Sensory was launched in response to Caudwell talking to their beneficiaries and from listening to their feedback during the national pandemic the Get Sensory Pack has become a nationwide initiative providing affordable items to meet the child's development, emotional and sensory needs during this time of stress and anxiety.
Get Sensory provides fun affordable items which help their educational development, interaction and engagement in the family home and links them to neurological support from Caudwell Children's autism specialists.
Did you know Caudwell Children reduce diagnosis of autism from 10
years down to just 4 weeks? That’s a whole childhood. Combined with helping children find their place in society and building a sense of belonging and provide opportunities to flourish whilst living with a life long condition.
- Match me matters – you’ll impact a child’s life at a time it matters most.
- Match me today for their tomorrow and their future and make a huge difference to a child this Christmas.
Let’s make this Christmas count for something and put a
smile on 100 faces and together raise £15,000, one child at a time.
