I am excited to share a journey I'm embarking on this year, one that combines personal challenge with a cause close to my heart. In 2025, I have committed to participating in four endurance events to raise funds for The Sussex Beacon's vital Formula Milk Programme.

The Cause: Supporting Mothers Living with HIV

The Sussex Beacon's Formula Milk Programme provides free formula milk to mothers living with HIV. The NHS advises against breast/chest feeding for HIV-positive parents, and with formula milk not available on prescription, this programme is a lifeline for families facing significant financial challenges. By ensuring access to formula milk, The Sussex Beacon helps mothers provide safe nutrition for their babies, fostering healthier futures for these families.

My Commitment: Four Challenges, One Goal

To support this essential service, I will be taking on the following events:

1. Brighton Half Marathon (March): Starting in my hometown, I'll run 13.1 miles along Brighton's iconic seafront.

2. Cardiff Half Marathon (May): Venturing back to the Welsh capital, I'll tackle another 13.1-mile course, embracing the city's vibrant atmosphere.

3. Brighton Triathlon (September): In my first-ever triathlon, I'll swim, cycle, and run through Brighton, pushing my limits in this multi-discipline event.

4. Lake Garda Half Marathon (December): Concluding the year in Italy, I'll run amidst the stunning scenery of Lake Garda, marking the final leg of this journey.
