Bridgend Coronavirus Support Group’s £2 Challenge! 

We've been thinking of a way for our Bridgend Coronavirus Support Group to help people at this difficult time, without asking too much when most of us are anxious about money and the future.

Having kept in touch with the Bridgend Foodbank Charity, we think it will be really helpful to raise money for their volunteer-run base here. They make sure people across Bridgend have emergency food and basics, and rely heavily on donations which are more difficult to safely collect and accept at the moment. 

Our wonderful, supportive and positive group now has 8,000 members from across Bridgend including people who live here, work here and have loved ones here. And we thought, what if each of us donated just £2 to Bridgend Foodbank? Collectively we could raise a lot of money for them and make a huge difference to people in our community.
