Story

Bronwen Morgan was an extraordinary person. She was an individual who fought for change and stood up for what she believed in, and that is that mental health matters and the healthcare services for mental health need to change and improve! They need to be better. Bronwen, unfortunately, took her life in August 2020 as she, herself was suffering from her own mental health. She partook in WCBW every year to raise money for mental health. To honour Bronwen, WCBW has now chosen to use Bronwen's W;sh as their chosen charity for their event. The Bronwen's W;sh charity's purpose is firstly to provide safe places within educational settings for children and young people. The Bronwen's W;sh charity is passionately encouraging young people to talk openly about their feelings, emotions and general mental wellbeing. We want young people to understand their mental health at the earliest stage possible to hopefully prevent them experiencing further challenges in life.
