Story

Thanks for all your support as I set out on this latest fundraising endeavour!

As you know INQUEST provides immeasurable support to bereaved families as they attempt to engage with the Coronial system. The importance and impact of this small charity cannot be underestimated - not just in terms of family support but as a resource to Inquest lawyers and as a campaigning organisation aiming to change the landscape of coronial law and for greater accountability after deaths involving the state.

As the Hillsborough Inquests get underway in Warrington, INQUEST is providing invaluable support to the Hillsborough families and their representatives. At the same time it is maintaining a nationwide caseload on a greatly reduced budget due to funding cuts, to provide support and assistance to the hundreds of bereaved families facing inquests into deaths in custody or following police contact across the country.

While the energy, commitment and dedication of INQUEST staff has a huge impact, they very much need your donation in order to continue their work. Please, therefore, donate generously! In return, I will endeavour to make it to the finish line in under 4 hours, and salute each one of you, together with the 96 and their families, as I run (uphill!) past Anfield on 25 May.

Very much appreciated,

Brenda
