Competition Time:

Ok so this year I have a Giant Pumpkin growing in the garden. As per photos you can see the measurements. Instead of wasting “Percy”Pumpkin in a compost heap I’m going to have a bit of fun and raise some money towards two Organisations in my life. Firstly the Welsh Guards Charity and secondly the Ogmore Branch Welsh Guards Association.

All you have to do is guess the weight of “Percy” on the day I harvest him which will be Wednesday 26 th October 2022.

Entry fee is £3 through JustGiving on my Facebook page. When you pay your £3 with your name you then need to enter on this post your name / estimated weight of Percy / paid.

On the morning of weighing the winner will receive £20 plus Percy for carving on Halloween.

Don’t forget Percy has another few weeks to grow and I will give you 2 lb either side of the actual weight in order to win the competition. So come on enter your money raised is going towards ex Soldiers welfare and support.

Thank you for your kindness and support.
