I am raising money for the North Wales Cancer Appeal, based at Glan Clwyd Hospital because I want to help them do more for people affected by cancer.

My partner, Sally Smart, of Blue Bug Photography, was diagnosed with two independent aggressive breast tumours in January 2022.  She underwent a mastectomy followed by three months of chemotherapy in Glan Clwyd.  The staff in the Cancer Centre are utterly lovely and caring and have made Sally's journey as smooth as possible.  

Sally rang the bell a week ago and now continues with targeted therapy and hormone therapy for many year's to come, still fully supported by an incredible unit. 

I will be travelling to Africa to climb Kilimanjaro in September and wish to raise money to support this amazing local specialist unit which is used by so many.
