Story
Join Birkenhead Sea Cadets; in showing our support for the Royal Navy team, HMS Oardacious, who successfully rowed across the Atlantic Ocean, Sea Cadet HQ have brought the challenge to individual units across the country.
Together, Sea Cadets are aiming to collectively cover 3,000 miles rowing in just one weekend and fundraise for young people. The money raised will go towards funding our nation-wide bursary appeal, meaning even more young people will be able to experience transformational offshore voyages, whatever their background. These life-changing opportunities help young people to gain valuable skills for life, feel more confident about themselves and work together with others.
Sea Cadets offer life-changing opportunities to young people, on and off the water, helping them earn qualifications and gain fantastic life experiences which all helps to move them closer to doing whatever they want to do after school.
Any support would be hugely appreciated and will mean that Sea Cadets can keep on offering a whole world of activities to children and teenagers from all kinds of backgrounds across the UK, giving them a great head start in life.

At Birkenhead Sea Cadets we aim to give young people an experience that will help them grow into the person they want to be in a safe and friendly environment. Through various activities and adventures, we learn teamwork, respect, loyalty, self-confidence, commitment, self-discipline, honesty and how to be the best version of ourselves.
As a self-funded, registered charity we are always working hard on a number of fundraising campaigns and reducing our costs whilst improving our efficiency.
