Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
1 out of 4 people around us may be potentially silently suffering from mental health issues, such as depression, anxieties, etc, and may be too embarrassed or ashamed to be disclosing it seeking better and more appropriate help and therapies. I am fortunate enough and remain grateful to have been on my way of recovery from depression and bulimia, yet I deeply understand that not every patient in the country are lucky enough to receive the right encouragement from peers or families, hence they may be exposed to the risk of being mistreated with their given conditions.
Mental health issues are not something to be ashamed of, but something we need to face with the correct attitude and mindsets and tackle them. I believe the impact of myself running the Belfast Marathon in aid of raising awareness maybe little, yet I have strong faith it will be a good start.
