Story
Betty Seymour 1943 - 2022.
Betty lived with dementia for the last years of her life and the illness took away so many of the wonderful things that made her special and her chance to be a bigger part of the lives of her children and grandchildren.
In 2015, My Life Films gave us the opportunity to make a film about Betty's life and helped us to gather the pictures, stories and music that she loved. We enjoyed this film together many times and it helped us to remember her life, her sense of fun and her love for her family.
My Life Films continue to make these remarkable films and their work has been recognised as ground-breaking in the area of remembrance therapy for those living with this condition. We would love to help them to make many more films to bring comfort and hope to people affected by dementia.
